Oh wow, I can't believe it's been 3 years since my last Journal Update. And not to mention, it's been a whole year since the last time I even logged to dA. "Something something new dA design bad something". So, as you can see, I've done nothing new in the last 2 years. I've been spending tons of time playing Final Fantasy XIV with the missus, and me accidentally damaging my wrists at one point has had me stay away from drawing and the piano for a good long while. But now with the whole lockdown and everything going on, I've actually picked up my pen again, and I've slowly been trying to get back into drawing (and my skills have never felt as inadequate as they do now). The biggest inspiration for trying to get back into things, was surprisingly enough the 'A Silent Voice' manga, as well as the (oh so gorgeous) movie. Greetings true believers. It's january again, so I guess it's time for me to force out a new journal entry. It's become a (bad) tradition to update my journal once a year. So here's the deal. Last year, I thought I might get back to drawing, but only managed to complete a whopping... Wait for it... FIVE pictures! Can you believe it, five. And that was after me (almost) confidently saying that I'll draw more that year. So this year, I'm not going to say that I will definitely draw more. You know, I just noticed that my last three updates all have a year between them. I guess me updating my journal has become a yearly thing. I didn't really draw much during the last year, but I'm slowly trying to get back to drawing, so maybe I'll be a bit more active this year. Just maybe. I've got one small picture ready that I did for a friend's band Jet Black Roots, but I'm waiting for them to release the album before I upload that one. I've also had a lot of trouble with editing my stuff, since my trusty Photoshop Elements 2.0 finally gave out, and stopped working entirely.
