Corruption Garden

"There are many colourful flowers on the path of life, but the prettiest have the sharpest thorns."

This is already my fifth Vocaloid related fanart, and the first time I drew Megurine Luka. She has a lot sharper features than my usual characters, and I think they go quite well along with the name and the mood of the picture.

This was drawn with fineliners, shaded with graphite pencils, coloured with colour pencils, and finished with white gel pen.

I took a bit of a risk by trying out this semi coloured technique for the first time on a picture that was turning out to be one of my best black and white drawings. So that's why your opinion about this picture is exceptionally important to me this time.

I'll be drawing a similar picture of Hatsune Miku next, so depending on the reaction this drawing gets, I'll either colour it like I did this one, or leave it black and white.
