Eternal Ponita

"A young man is sleeping in front of his computer, and dreaming a strange dream. It's a dream of a beautiful, magical world, like something from a fairy tale. A world known as Equestria.

There he meets a young pegasus pony named Fluttershy, suffering from a terminal illness. A unicorn pony named Twilight, who will fight to save her. And Twilight's trusted dragon assistant named Spike.

Though he first thinks this world is the work of an elaborate troll, just a fantasy, or an illusion created by his mind, he realises that there might be more to this place. A world of vivid colours. A world that feels so loving and tolerating. A world which is slowly becoming his new reality.

...Can this truly be just a dream?"


This drawing is of course a crossover (parody), of the XBox360 cover art of the game Eternal Sonata. Also known as Trusty Bell in Japan. It's kinda freaky how well the atomosphere of Eternal Sonata fits in with My Little Pony - Friendship is Magic. I really need to complete the second playthrough of the game sometime. The soundtrack alone is worth it.

Anyways, this was drawn by hand with water soluble color pencils, and finished with white gel pen. I'll try to draw something a bit more badass the next time around, since this one nearly gave me diabetes.
