Ruska

For some reason, I decided that I want to draw a picture of Naru Narusegawa from Love Hina, and here's what I came up with. It's also been about a year since the last time I drew her.

I got the idea for the Autumn theme from her eye and hair colour. And now that I've drawn Naru, I've been thinking about drawing Motoko and/or Kanako at some point too. I guess it all depends on the reception this pic'll get. But as far as I know, my fanart pictures have never been as popular as original characters. Not that my original characters would be popular either. Hah.

Anyway, about the title. Ruska is a finnish word that depicts the time of the year when the leaves turn colourful, as the trees prepare for the coming winter. The word Ruska can basically be translated to Autumn Colours.

This was drawn with colour pencils, and I finished it with white gel pen and photoshop.
